These handles are so elegant.Easy to install and has a good quality feel to it.Great value with a cool look. You’ll find everything you usually get with a handset purchase (handset, strike, extra key, adjustable depth latch assemble) at a very competitive price.A very solid door lock that it suitable for a bedroom or bathroom.As you can see, I replaced a golden door handle with this new black door handle. By changing the door handle, it made a huge difference. Golden door handles are so over its time.When changing from a round base to a square base, you will notice that part of the round base is still visible and if your door is painted, you would need to do some touch up.In total, this task should have taken me at most 15mins. But silly me put the inside mechanism the opposite direction and this prevents the door from being locked. The inner mechanism is a semi circle. Make sure the flat edge is facing the opposite side of the direction of the door you are trying to lock. If you look closely at my picture showing the inner mechanism, you will see that is the wrong way. After assembling, I had to take it apart and redo. (Lesson learnt: at least skim through the instructions abit.)So, I deducted 1 point because of the location of the screws for the handles. To screw the inner screw, I need to lift up the handle to get it in and there’s a chance the screw might scratch the handle. Manufacturer should have made it easier by having the screws at the top and bottom, like the golden version I dismantled.It’s a good designed door knob. Can’t complain on the character it gives to our door. It is quite easy to install, I just run a little issue on the screw on the inner part of the knob which is on the way in tightening it, you’ll have to move the knob (like opening up the door) because the base of it is hitting my screw driver and gave me little hard time leveling it. Other than that, it is all good product. I just wished they moved the screw a little bit off.super high quality, great finish, mechanicals are smooth...look is superb IMO... ymmvpackaged nicely, no missing partshighly recommended...I have been gradually replacing all of the door handles in my house with black and oil-rubbed bronze finishes and that use a handle rather than a door knob. I selected this handle because it has a lock. I have a cleaning supplies closet that I want to keep locked so that it is not a tempting target for my young niece when I babysit. This zinc alloy material in this door handle makes it very attractive and it would work well in any scenario where you need to lock a room including a bathroom, pantry, bedroom, etc...This was very easy to install. It took me longer to remove the old door knob and latch than it did to install the new one. It took me less than 10 minutes to put this lock in, though I have done quite a few door handles lately so I have had plenty of practice. The latch fit perfectly in to the existing latch hole.I'm pleased with this product and have purchased two additional locks of this model for bathrooms.This doorknob is as described. Very nice black finish and modern design. I had no problems installing it.
